MU fans demand the dismissal of two players

Fans of MU are calling for the removal of two players after their dreadful performance in the 3-3 draw against Porto in the Europa League.

Man United took a 2-0 lead and looked strong for the first 20 minutes thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund. However, Pepe narrowed the gap for the hosts before Samu Omorodion scored two goals to put Porto ahead 3-2.

The former Atletico Madrid player overpowered both Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt at Estadio do Dragao. The former Ajax defenders seemed to have established themselves as Erik ten Hag’s first-choice duo at the start of the season, but both struggled against Porto.

In fact, they played so poorly that both were substituted for Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans in the 77th minute while Man United was trailing 2-3. Maguire later equalized in stoppage time, saving Ten Hag from the risk of being sacked.

Fans are calling for a change in the center-back partnership for upcoming matches. They are eager for the return of £52 million signing Leny Yoro after injury and believe pairing the 18-year-old with Maguire could be a viable solution.
