The Croatian national team has qualified for Euro for the 6th consecutive time, and this is the 2nd time under the reign of coach Zlatko Dalić. They secured their ticket to Germany after a 1-0 victory against Armenia on the final matchday of the qualifiers. In the last two Euros, in 2016 and 2021, the checkered team was eliminated in the round of 16, so their goal this year is to break this curse and advance as far as possible.
Participating in Euro 2024, barring any unforeseen circumstances, Luka Modric will undoubtedly continue to serve as the captain, marking his 9th participation in major international tournaments at the national team level.
