The UEFA Euro 2024 tournament will officially kick off in June 2024 in the host country of Germany. The top 24 national teams in Europe will compete across 6 groups to vie for the championship title.

Euro 2024 will officially kick off on June 14, 2024, in Germany. Following the opening ceremony, the first match between the host nation Germany and Scotland will take place at the Munich Football Arena.

Among these stadiums, 9 were used during the 2006 FIFA World Cup. The Munich Football Arena is chosen to host Euro for the second consecutive time, being the home stadium of Bayern Munich.

How many teams are in Euro 2024?A total of 24 national teams from Europe will participate in the final tournament. Germany, as the host nation, automatically qualifies and is placed in Group A of the group stage.

This marks the 14th consecutive appearance of Germany (West Germany) in the Euro finals since 1972. Previously, West Germany won the tournament in 1972, 1980, and Germany won in 1996.
