Giants such as Germany, France, and the Netherlands have already announced their preliminary squads. However, many other powerhouses are still carefully considering their options before the UEFA deadline, with Spain among them.

Spain is highly regarded for its midfield, but questions surround the forward line, especially as their main striker, Alvaro Morata, has been experiencing a less than impressive form recently.

Atletico Madrid is open to considering offers for Morata. The experienced forward is reportedly set to leave Madrid in the summer, with transfer interest from Italy and Saudi Arabia. As the captain, Luis de la Fuente is likely to keep Morata in his squad for Euro 2024, but reports from Mundo Deportivo suggest that his starting position may be under threat, despite Morata scoring four goals in the qualifiers. De la Fuente hopes Morata can regain his motivation in the final weeks of the season before the friendlies against Andorra and Northern Ireland.

In the striker position, alongside Morata, the Spanish national team can also rely on two other stars, Joselu from Real Madrid and Ferran Torres from Barcelona.
