With his presence at this Euro, the former Real Madrid star has officially broken his own record by participating for the sixth consecutive time in Euro tournaments. The Al-Nassr star currently holds numerous records in this competition.
Ronaldo is the player with the most appearances (25 matches) and the highest goal scorer (14 goals). When he takes the field against the Czech Republic in Portugal's opening match, he will become the oldest player to play in the Euro at the age of 39 years and 133 days.

In this tournament, despite doubts about his form due to his age, Ronaldo remains a formidable leader of the Portuguese national team, given all that he has demonstrated in the colors of Al Nassr.
Regarding coach Roberto Martinez, when asked about the reason for calling up Ronaldo, the Spanish strategist shared: "Ronaldo, how is he? It's better to talk about the numbers. He has scored 42 goals in 41 matches for his club. That is evidence of his stability and enduring physical fitness, alongside his finishing skills in front of the goal that we truly admire and need."
